There is still a great need for a more diverse staff, specifically African American Teachers, in AACPS.

It would be great idea to request that representatives from the NAACP and other community organizations be allowed to volunteer in the school to supplement for the lack of African American and Latino educators. The NAACP could discuss locally with the County Executive and on the state level about providing incentives to attract more African Americans and other POC to the field of Education. Loan forgiveness and removing student loan debt in general could be a big help.
